You may remember that earlier this year we paid a visit to Jump Nation for some trampoline fun. As our second work social was looming, we knew we had to top it, so what better way to channel our competitive side than an afternoon of go karting?
Easter is an absolutely cracking time of the year. We get to scoff as much chocolate as we want and who isn’t egg-static about a 4-day weekend? But puns aside, this holiday is the perfect time for brands to jump on the bandwagon and hatch a plan (get it?) for the most egg-cellent Easter campaigns… […]
Earlier this year we launched our Liverpool Business Predictions report which consisted of opinions and thoughts from some of the city’s most influential business leaders. But, we didn’t want to stop there and so we are pleased to introduce our Birmingham and Lancashire editions.

It’s a brand new year and what better way to start 2017 than by welcoming a new member to the OVG team. Lewis Hayter joined us last October as Junior Developer so we’ve decided to take a look back at the last few months to see how he’s settled into his role so far. Like with […]
Back in 2011, Snapchat was just an idea thought up by Stanford University students, Evan Spiegel and Robert Murphy. Fast forward to today, and it has millions of active users, an abundance of fun features and a chance to connect with your favourite celebrities.
Our Technical Director, Neil Walker and Google Search expert, Simon Guest took to the stage today in an exclusive breakfast event hosted by Sedulo in Manchester. 10 Ways to Win With Digital in 2017 focused on the ever evolving digital landscape and how businesses can take their digital marketing to the next level in the new year.

But why is video marketing so vital in today’s business world?
Four days, four countries, two OVG Directors!

The sporting calendar is packed full with events and festivities all throughout the year, but every once in awhile we’re treated to something truly special… The Olympics!
At OVG we rarely turn down a celebration, and when we found out that our very own Sara Bryan was getting married, we simply couldn’t resist throwing her a surprise hen do (with the boys dressed up as girls, of course).
We are a very sociable bunch here at OVG, so when we were invited to attend the City of Manchester Business Awards, after being nominated twice, we put on our finest frocks and smartest suits to celebrate with a whole host of industry experts and leaders.
On Tuesday 12th July, we attended the big finale for The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity after being shortlisted as one of four finalists (hurray). We put on our best outfits and made our way to The Midland Hotel where we pitched an idea to none other than Dragons’ Den mogul Theo Paphitis.
The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity is on a mission to raise money to go towards their Helipad Appeal. With this in mind, we thought what better way to help out than by hosting a bake sale (because who doesn’t love cake?).

On April 18th, we welcomed our latest Junior Search Executive, Tom Dutson. Below he talks about his first week with us and what he has learnt so far. If you were wondering how we came up with the title of this post, take a look below…
Following the success of our Manchester Business Predictions report back in 2014, the team at Online Ventures Group decided to bring it back, proving why the city of Manchester really is the ‘one to watch’.
