Conwy Valley Windows

Conwy Valley Windows are a home improvement company that specialises in conservatories, high quality windows and composite doors, from its base in Conwy, Wales.

The Challenge

The company required a new website to help increase inbound enquires. The old website was difficult to navigate, lacked appropriate housing for lengthier content and was generally unpleasing to the eye.

The new site needed to be focused on call to actions with a view of encouraging users to show their interest via the ‘Request a quote’ form.

Conwy Valley Windows also wanted to make better use of the images they had taken of previous jobs to show potential customers what they could do – something that the old website could not accommodate.

Everything needed to be editable from the backend so that in-house staff could update services at very short notice without the need of a developer.

What we did

We created a bespoke WordPress template using custom post types and fields to ensure full ability to edit all on-site elements and content by the Conwy Valley team.

The site had clear call to actions and a ‘Request a quote’ form universally shown throughout the entire site.

Everything you see on the site was editable in the WordPress admin section with the use of custom fields and custom post types. This ensured that any changes could be implemented on the site without the need for a web developer.

The Result

The new website not only creates a much better visual experience for the user, but made it extremely easy to find essential contact methods to enquire about services.

This greatly increased leads generated by the site and improved the bounce rate.

Combined with a strong marketing and social campaign from Online Ventures Group, this led in an increase in traffic overall and better conversion rates as a result.
