The 16th December marked our annual OVG Christmas do, so we put on our finest frocks, played some obligatory festive songs and headed out for a delicious Christmas lunch in the heart of the city.

The party started at Oast House in Spinningfields where our long table took up the middle of their magnificent Teepee and was decorated beautifully with lanterns, candles and twinkly lights – ‘tis the season after all.

With complimentary drinks flowing, we tucked into a delicious starter of bread with oils followed by hanging turkey kebabs, veg and gravy (the veggies had halloumi which was a triumph). For dessert, we all enjoyed chocolate pots presented in a dainty kilner jar or a plate of apple crumble with just the right amount of custard.

Full of food, we dropped into Neighborhood for a few drinks on our way to Dive Bar where we set up camp for the rest of the afternoon.

Now it wouldn’t be an OVG celebration without some photos and so we’ve put this gallery together full of our favourite snaps from the night especially for you to enjoy!
